Because our rugs are crafted from naturally dyed wool and made entirely by hand, you may notice slight color variations or a beautiful shading effect across the pile. This characteristic, known in the trade as "abrash," is a signature of high-end, hand-dyed wool rugs and highlights the authentic, non-machine-made nature of your piece.
